In the fall of 2007 I and Dana decided that we would start the project of building the dogs a new home. Until this point all of our dogs lived in the home with us. This was great for the many years but as we grew a numbers by a few this seemed to be a very challleging task of keeping all the dogs in our home. We still wanted to have the dogs have acces to our home but have their own place to call home. I decided to expand our backyard and start on our addition of the kennel. With me owning my own construction business I knew what I wanted and how I wanted it. Although finding time to build it seemed to be the biggest task at hand. We both knew it was going to take awhile to complete just being able to work on it from time to time. We eventually had our new kennel completed in early 2009.

Now the dogs live in luxury. I designed the kennel completly around the needs our dogs. During the winter time it is kept toasty warm with two different sources of heat. And in the summer they lounge in central air conditioning. Each dog also has acces in and out at anytime with doggy doors on to the coverd patio wich seems to be the favorite place for all of them to take nap.
